General Info
Personality: Strong will and often considered bull headed, once he has an idea his mind is set and very few are able to sway him. However at first glance he can appear cool, calm, almost eerily so. He is a strong man with strong emotions. One of which happens to be hate of humans.

He’s not a man to anger lightly; he does not give pity and does not take excuses. If you disobey or anger you are given discipline for it. Often in those moments his true viciousness and cruelty shines through. Has a strong family mentality, he is incredibly protective of his own blood. To harm one of them is to seek to harm him, often resulting in a backlash many are not aware of until it is too late. Manipulative and cunning, he does not always need to be the one doing the dirty work.

Background
Personal History:Dimitri was born to a rather eccentric but loving mother and a man that was stern but often fair to his children. He was third to be born with his twin sister, an older brother and sister preceding him, and one younger sister following after him and his twin. Life was rather simplistic for the family. His mother stayed home with the children and his father worked odd jobs that he could find when he was not busy at the church. A heavily religious man, each and every child was brought along with their father to help. Washing floors, moving items, whatever was needed they were to see to it at their fathers bidding.

The first ten years of Dimitri fell into this pattern. Most of his time was spent with his eldest brother, learning from him, influenced by him. However the two were incredibly protective of their sisters. Family, they were taught, was the most important thing. You do not let something happen to your blood kin. You protect them, guide them, and help them. When one struggled in a chore, the others gave a helping hand. When one fell in life, the others were there to pick them up.

The children nearly saw to themselves, keeping together, barely needing their parents at all. A fact that worked to their favor as their mother was not exactly well suited for motherhood. While loving and at times doting, she was often far too lost to her own thoughts and wants to even notice her children. Their father’s presence was there to keep them in line. To remind them to be good children. To not cause ill for either of their parents, to not sin. They all thought that they were heeding their father’s words. But when Dimitri was fifteen he came to learn that he and his closest sister were sins from the moment they were born. Their mother had not been faithful.

The children asleep in their beds awoke to screaming and shouting one winter night. The sisters crawled into the brother’s beds, curling against them to be kept safe. The shouting continued, muffled by the walls but the pure rage bled into the air. The eldest brother rose from his bed, creeping near to the door and opening it just enough to hear. They barely had chance to catch a sentence before their father was suddenly storming up the stairs. His face was contorted into a rage none of the children had ever seen, his breath came out in puffs, like a bull, before his features.

His eyes fell upon the two and while the other children cried out and grabbed at his arms, nothing would deter him. Dimitri and Juliette were dragged from the room to the dark basement of the house.

With his twin sister crying in his arms the two were informed they were abominations, manifests of their mother’s sins. They were no longer blood. No longer family. No longer his children. Upstairs Dimitri could hear his mother sobbing. A sound that echoed his sisters own tears. Dimitri sat stone faced; staring at the man he had known as father his entire life. All he felt was hatred. Betrayal. Softly he soothed his sister as their father turned his back to them, leaving them to the cold basement.

For days there was nothing. Just the bitter darkness of the basement and the scent of his sisters tears to the air. Her fingers near bruised as she clung to him, protesting any time he shifted or moved in such a way that made her think he was going to leave her. He wouldn’t, he never would.

Often they could hear yelling, arguments, crashes of items being destroyed. Time and time again he heard his sisters and brother trying to console their distraught mother. But never once did the door open. No food was brought to them, no water to quench parched throats. No whispered words at the door asking if they were alright. Dimitri’s only words were to ease his sister’s worries. They wouldn’t die down there…he wouldn’t allow it. But as their stomachs grumbled and as her tears came less and less…he began to wonder.

The family above had deteriorated. Their religious father giving into his own sins, the drink. The drink that often resulted in fists raised to the children’s mother. The other children kept to themselves, hiding away from both parents constantly. The eldest brother was gone often, attempting to find means to support himself so that he could get the other children out of the house and their fathers deepening wrath.

Dimitri half unconscious was awoken one night by screams again. His mother was frantically crying out, his little sisters Dimitri could hear saying no. The door to the basement was thrown open and for a moment Dimitri was blind as bright light flooded the once darkness. His sister cowered back behind him, Dimitri shielded her as their once father rushed down the steps. He had rage in his eyes and liquor to his veins. He spoke but Dimitri did not hear him. The words were lost as the pain came. He snarled for his sister to hide and she listened. Leaving Dimitri to deal with the mans anger.

Flesh was torn; the entire event was a flurry to Dimitri. His sisters were at the top of the steps crying, Dimitri tried to speak, to tell them to go, but his jaw was near broken before he could. No back talking. Most of the damage was done to his back as he draped himself over his sister when the father’s attention turned to her as she sobbed.

Bloodied and heavily breathing Dimitri could do nothing more then hold his sisters gaze, whispering that it would be okay even if both knew it wouldn’t be. The pain seemed to last an eternity and stilled only when the youngest, barely six at the time, leapt at her fathers arm to try to stop him from hurting her brother. Like a fly their father swatted her away. The little child slumping to the ground with a whimper. Something within Dimitri snapped.

With his father distracted Dimitri rose, jabbing his shoulder hard into the mans midsection, making him double over. A sharp kick sent the drunken man to the ground. Dimitri doesn’t recall what happened next. All he remembers is being dragged off of the limp mans corpse. He remembered the way his face was barely recognizable. He remembered his mothers wailing. He remembered his sisters tugging at him, saying that he had to stop.

In a daze he was helped out of the room, his sisters clinging to his sides. His mother had accusing eyes and while Dimitri loved her still…bitterness had grown in his heart. Why had they left them there? Where was his brother? Hours later he came to find out the answer to that question. His brother had gone out. He’d gone looking for the one person he thought might help…the other man. The father to Dimitri. His brother and the man arrived too late. They arrived as Dimitri’s wounds were being tended to. The house fell into silence.

It was days later that the man returned to them. A man that Dimitri never called father. He said that he and his lover could care for them all. That they could all stay with them in their estate. There was no choice but to go with him, their mother was in no state to care for them now. They had to go; to live with a man they’d never known and the woman that had cold blue eyes like ice.

The months afterwards were strange. While the children stayed closed, Dimitri never felt the same as he had. The only one he was truly closed to was his sister. His bitterness towards the others still lingered. Especially his eldest brother. But family was family, they stayed together.

A year later their mother was found dead. How? No one seemed to know. It happened after the woman they were staying with fought with her. Dimitri had his guesses but he spoke nothing. None of them did. Ties had been lost with her through that year…she no longer had love for her children or want for them.

Life found some pace again. The children grew, their lives continued. But always that woman hovered over them. She and the man, Dimitri’s father, who never seemed to age…but neither did she. It was only when Julian became sick that her true nature came to the surface. She told them that she refused to lose them. That they were hers, not deaths. None knew what she meant. None understood until suddenly she was pulling Julian away from them and viciously tore into his throat. Dimitri rushed at her but a hiss threw him backwards.

The girls were snatched up by the woman’s servant, Dimitris’s father. They were held back as the woman drank Julien’s blood. Dimitri tried to rise again, slowly he found strength to get to his feet but another shockwave was snarled at him with a warning to stay out of it. The others could only watch in shock as Julien took blood back. As he changed…as his body died.

She changed them all. Not all that night. Not even all that week. Their choice? There was no choice in it. Her will was suddenly law. Their lives changed again. They were hers. Blood tied, children. But for Dimitri it became more. What she wanted she had, and what she wanted was him. Over the passing of time, of so many years, she drew him in and pushed Dimitri’s father away. The man warned Dimitri but he did not listen. He knew only her sweet words, her soft touch. She seduced him and she claimed him. But he did not fall completely. He wanted her as she had him. He wanted her promise that she’d be with no others. For once, she let another claim her in such a way. To earn her promise.

They stayed together though Dimitri’s father left, whether he lived or died after that choice Dimitri never cared to ask. He had his siblings, he had her, that was all he needed. For centuries that was their life. They moved from city to city, they were led by her and guided by her. She like a mother to the others. Julien was the one distance then. Dimitri believed it jealousy but it was not. Julien knew the truth. Later in those centuries he came to know that she, their all, was no longer keeping to her promises. She was drawing away from them. He told Dimitri but he did not want to listen, he did not want to believe it. Julien left in anger, frustrated that his brother was keeping them with one that no longer cared.

It took catching her in the act for Dimitri to believe. Seeing her with another….the man was killed, the vile werecreature that was nothing compared to Dimitri. His sire, his love, he left her nearly dead. Crippled….

He took his sisters and left. He could not take another betrayal.

The group spent time in many cities, travel became a constant. At times the group separated but always they somehow ended up back with each other. Family came first still, it always would, and though time passed they all knew they had the others there should they need them. Julien however was not content to continue to travel. He’d found a woman, he wanted to settle down. He did in Seattle, finding it a hot spot for supernatural kind and believing they’d be able to do well there. There where he took over care for an old apartment and used family funds to repair and bring it back to life.

Dimitri was not so ready to settle however, he continued to travel the world. Never truly stilling for long, constantly changing locations as though he were looking for something he’d never really find again. Time passed this way, the family together and separate all in one. Dimitri stayed close with them all, though still there lingered a distance between him and his eldest brother. Dimitri knew he should go see him, to lay to rest all the past ghosts that haunted them. He knew…but it was not done in time.

Two years ago Julien was killed. The papers listed it as an accident but Dimitri refused to really believe it so. Such long lives…enemies came and there were some that believed they had found the family out. One such man, Bendeck, believed it his place to cleanse the world of such sins. A man none in the family were truly aware of until it seemed to be thrown right in their face.

The death hit Dimitri painfully hard. He felt guilt in not having been there, as though if he had been that none of this would have come to pass. The sisters pulled together and yet Dimitri pulled himself away. Bitterness and hatred began to swim through the veins and it would not let him be. He could not sit and mourn believing that it was Julien’s time. No…Dimitri did as he so rarely did, he let emotions rule him. He left, swearing only to himself that he’d find the one who had taken their brother from them. The sisters tried to stop him, to talk sense into him but determination was not so easily swayed.

The human, wise enough to know that others of Julien’s kind would not take kindly to the death, fled the city. Though no fool he was not quick enough in his escape. A trail enough was left…a trail for Dimitri to follow. Proof that he'd been right. He knew that Bendeck understood what he was dealing with. Dimitri knew there were risks.

Still he pursued, falling to the humans tricks only when they managed to make him believe that they had other supernaturals. He did not want any others to die by the mans hand. The other supernaturals weaker in nature were released, Dimitri took their place. The man believed Dimitri would know more, that he could tell them where to find other older supernaturals so they could wipe them out one by one. Dimitri told them nothing. A fact that they did not take kindly to.

Holy was used, too much for Dimitri to even guess to the amount of. His throat was slit to ensure he could not use his abilities, everyday he was asked again and again for information. He knew that if he did not get out soon the holy would eat him away…

It was not the family that found him first but his sire. Their sire that had been watching them still all these years. Their sire that had heard of Julien’s death and had sought out his killer just as Dimitri had. With the supernaturals that had been released at her side the group of humans were destroyed. Dimitri’s recovery was not swift…nor was it easy with her presence at his side. The one that had haunted him still through all the years.

It was with her aid, however, that he was brought back to Seattle. By her blood that he managed to heal quicker then he would have otherwise. But like Dimitri, none in the family knew what to truly make of their sires presence. But she was never easy to turn away…and this time refused to be dimissed.

Dimitri has since recovered and now has taken over his bothers place as the Owner and Manager of Old Town Towers in Seattle.
